Lenovo p2 review
The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo is back with their new smartphone Lenovo P2 after the launching of the K6 power and K6 note.
In this post, we are going to reviewing these Battery giant phone. We cannot say this is the perfect smartphone even no Smartphone is perfect it depends upon you what’ are your requirements. The main highlighting feature of Lenovo P2 is it’s 5,100 mah Battery. This smartphone come in 2 color variants Champagne gold and Graphite gray at a price of Rs. 16,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 17,999 for the 4GB RAM version.
LOOK AND FEEL
The Lenovo P2 features an all-metal body, and the aluminum material certainly feels sturdy. There is nothing new in terms of design, but the P2’s overall polish gives it a premium feel. There’s a lot of empty space above and below the display. The physical home button has an integrated fingerprint scanner, but there’s nothing else on the phone’s relatively thick chin. The device has dimensions of 153 x 76 x 8.3 mm (6.02 x 2.99 x 0.33 in) weighs at 177 gram and also it feels very heavy in hand because of its huge battery. The Lenovo P2 supports a hybrid slot which is a con factor for this. The volume rockers are given at the right side and power button. The left side comes with a slider switch that Lenovo calls a “power-saving key”, which toggles the Ultimate Power Saver mode. In this mode, you see a countdown timer which actually tells you how much battery life you have remaining. The physical button placement is fairly ergonomic and there is decent tactile feedback for all buttons.
The Lenovo P2 sports a 5.5 inch (1920x1080p) full HD Super AMOLED display packed with 402 PPI pixel density which is great and better than previous LCD panel used by the Lenovo in their previous smartphones. The display is bright, vibrant and offers rich colors along with good sunlight readability.
SPECIFICATIONS, FEATURES, AND PERFORMACE
The Lenovo P2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) clocked at 2GHz, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM this chipset is also used in the Asus ZenFone 3 and MOTO Z play but both devices are heavily priced. Both versions of the phone have 32GB of built-in storage which is not considering the device opted for the users which store heavy data on their phones but don’t worry you can add microSD cards up to 128 GB. Also, it has all other main connectivity functions and sensors. Lenovo also claims that the P2 supports an LTE cat 6 which can boost your downloading speed up to 300Mbps and uploads at up to 50Mbps. Lenovo p2 comes with an Android 6.0 out of the box with company’s Vibe Pure UI on top. With the power of an octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) clocked at 2GHz, coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM you can never feel lags and also the gaming performance of the device is butter smooth. You can easily play heavy games without any lag Thanks to its processor and 4GB RAM
Lenovo P2 supports a 13 megapixel and 5 MP front camera Lenovo has not provided the aperture size of P2. But the Lenovo claims that it has improved camera from it;s predecessor Lenovo vibe P1. The camera app is really quick when focusing on the objects. It supports phase-detection but optical image stabilization is missing. P2 can also take got shots in the low lighting conditions without making a noise in the photos this powered by Sony sensor so this time Lenovo has done a very great job in the camera. The P2 can record full-HD videos with decent quality. Selfies are passable when taken in good light, but turn out really dark otherwise. Overall, the Lenovo P2 fares reasonably well in the camera department even though this is not its main feature.
Lenovo p2 is a battery giant which comes with a 5,100 mah battery. Heavy user doesn’t worry it will last long for 2 days and if you are a moderate user you can expect a 3 days battery life.As I had mentioned earlier, this smartphone provides the combination good display, performance. So I would recommend this smartphone because this is pretty good you can get in this segment.
